Indigo - Public Programme at Central Stories, Alexandra.
Over the course of the exhibition members of Indigo will be present in the Gallery. On Sunday afternoons someone will be painting or carving or talking to you, our audience. Details of this public programme are as follows:
Sunday 24 Nov, 2 pm; Shaun Burdon – floor talk. ‘Intro to Indigo the artists and their art’.
Sunday 01 Dec, 2 pm; Judy Cockeram – floor talk ‘ You know what you like’.
Sunday 08 Dec, 12.30 - 3.30 pm; Luke Anthony – artist at work – carving.
Sunday 15 Dec, 12.30 – 3 pm; Nigel Wilson/ Rachel Hirabayashi – artists at work.
Sunday 22 Dec, 1 pm – 3 pm; Lynne Wilson – artist at work.
Sunday 29 Dec, 2 pm; Judy Cockeram; – floor talk ‘ You know what you like’
Sunday 12 Jan, 3 sessions, one hour each; 10:30 – 11:30, 12:30 – 1:30, 2:00 – 3:00. Megan Huffadine – workshop for kids – ‘Learn to draw historic buildings’. Ages 10 -12, 6 children per group. Bookings essential. Children will learn how to use graphite pencils and make a water wash drawing from a photo of a historic building. All materials provided. Koha to cover materials. Wear old clothes and bring a drink. BOOK at Central Stories reception.
