The Central Otago Regional Choir - Queenstown

The Central Otago Regional Choir conducted by John Buchanan and accompanied by organist Kemp English presents The Crucifixion by John Stainer with soloists Ben Madden (tenor) and Ben Caukwell (bass) and Here Comes the Bride - music to celebrate the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Stainer's moving and beautiful Crucifixion is one of the most popular works performed at Easter.  And some glorious wedding music sung at royal weddings - Wedding March (Mendelssohn), Bridal March (Wagner), Trumpet Voluntary (Clark), and Toccata (Widor). Handel's well-known Zadok the Priest will be a delightful feature of the concerts to be presented at St Peter’s Church, Queenstown at 8.00pm on Saturday 16th April and at St John the Baptist Church, Alexandra at 2.30pm on Sunday 17th April
