The Hope and Sons Art Awards are a very successful biennial event, first starting in 1998 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Otago province. Held by The Otago Art Society in the Dunedin Railway Station this award has attracted many gifted artists from throughout the South Island and has proved extremely popular with the public.
