House Concert with Gilly Darbey & Vikki Clayton - Moa Creek
Location: Poolburn Hall
Region: Moa Creek
Dates: Fri, 16 September 2016
This will be a wonderful house concert in the country. Gilly Darbey and Vikki Clayton will entertain with their beautiful music and amazing voices.
NZ-based Englishwoman Gilly Darbey has been thrilling audiences in the UK, Australia and NZ with her “wow, what a singer” voice for many years. Gilly has performed at every major folk and blues festival in these three countries and has shared the stage with the likes of Van Morrison, Tori Amos, Fairport Convention and Gordon Giltrap.
English folkie Vikki Clayton is regarded as one of the finest singers of her generation and adored by both audiences and her peers. With exquisite musical sensibilities, it was inevitable that Vikki would take centre-stage as an artist: an astounding guitarist, and possessed of a silvery-pure, sweet and beautiful voice, she is sensitive, clever, witty and great fun.
No advance tickets necessary, tickets at the door on the night at 7pm
Tickets are $20 and BYO hamper and wine.
