A celebration of adventurous sports and lifestyles.
The 2026 New Zealand Mountain Film & Book Festival is a combination of inspiring events over 7 days in WÄnaka and Queenstown. Scheduled activities include viewings of epic international and NZ made adventure films, international and NZ guest speakers, mountain book and literature competition and events, workshops, book readings and art exhibitions.
The diverse experiences of the guest speakers and filmmakers, ranging from wild NZ epics to far-flung expeditions, promise to deliver a programme of exhilarating and insightful stories. Expect solid backcountry banter as well as deeply personal journeys.
