Youth Calendar

We're thrilled to let you know that the 2026 Rangatahi-Led Fund is officially open for applications. Now in its fourth round, this fund is unlike most grants you'll come across. Every decision about who receives funding is made by rangatahi, for rangatahi and tamariki. 

Four youth rōpÅ« — representing Waitaki/North Otago, ÅŒtepoti/Dunedin, Central Otago, and South Otago — are at the helm, setting the purpose and criteria that reflect what actually matters to young people in their communities.

Groups and individuals under 25 with a vision for their community can apply for grants of up to $5,000, administered through an eligible organisation. Whether it's a cultural kaupapa, a creative project, a community event, or something completely out of the box — if it's driven by young people, this fund wants to hear about it.
