Central Otago Regional Orchestra presents an intimate chamber music experience. Experience world-class classical music in the heart of Central Otago as the Central Otago Regional Orchestra presents "A Concerto Collection" under conductor Ashley Hopkins.
Musical Highlights
This intimate chamber concert features acclaimed soloists performing beloved concertos:
Ralph Miller - The versatile principal trumpet of the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, known for his work across classical, jazz, blues and musical theatre, performs trumpet concertos by Neruda and Albinoni
Jacqui Hopkins - Accomplished bassoonist from the DSO and CORO member, showcasing her artistry with strings orchestra
Brandenburg strings dectet - Classical chamber music at its finest
Sherry Shelton - Piano and keyboard performances
Family-friendly: Free admission for school children makes this an ideal cultural outing for families. Cost: $25 adults, School children free. Tickets & Information available from Central Stories Museum & Gallery or online. Door sales may be available, cash only.
