Taiari Wai River Festival 2025 (Ranfurly)

The Taiari Wai River Festival is a music festival with a purpose - to engage the Otago community in the extraordinary freshwater ecosystems of the Taieri/Taiari river. ​​The aim of the festival is to provide a focal point for the Taieri/Taiari community to gather, to learn about and celebrate their river.
Christchurch's famous "Kite lady" Julie Adam will be on hand to run a kite making workshop and there will be plenty of opportunity to fly kites. Come and make a kite or bring your own! As always our good friends from Otago Fish and Game will be on hand to run their fishing game, always a huge hit with the kids!
The festival aims to link communities up and down the Taiari/Taieri river, from Dunedin to Alexandra and beyond.
