Get along to Bella’s Coffee and Ice Cream in Alexandra, in association with Paper Plus Alexandra, to listen to Olivia Spooner talk about her new novel, "The American Boys".
Set in Wellington in 1942, it’s a story of love, family, and the chaos that arrives with 20,000 American troops in New Zealand. Lorna meets Stan, a kind-hearted Marine from Chicago, and later his younger brother Alfie, who challenges her in ways she never expects, all against the backdrop of WWII.
Sunday, November 2nd, 4pm at Bellas. Tickets are $15. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
