Oturehua Art Exhibition

Mark your calendars! From June 19 to 22, 2025, an exhibition featuring works by regional artists will take place at the Oturehua Town Hall.

The exhibition will showcase pieces by Tony Stanford Shields (landscape paintings), Birgit Krippner (photography), Debbie Moore (pastel landscapes), Martin Sullivan (sculpture), and Ruth Arnott (ceramics). This event provides a great opportunity for a winter drive to Oturehua.

The opening night will be held on June 19, and the closing event on June 22 will include the announcement of the recipient of the People's Choice Award, which comes with a $2,000 prize. Entry to the exhibition will be by koha (donation), with all funds raised donated to the hall.

The aim is to showcase local artists and utilise the town hall as a community space.
