Twilight Opera
Location: Springpointer Garden. 70 Lower Shotover Rd.
Dates: Sun, 9 February 2025 @ 4pm for a 5pm performance
Twilight Opera in the Garden is a unique festive gift and experience for family, friends, and corporates to celebrate and enjoy opera in a stunning garden setting.
It's the perfect present—the gift that keeps on giving! WHY? Because proceeds from Twilight Opera in the Garden will be donated to the Turn Up the Music Charitable Trust (TUTM) to help nurture young musical talent in our community.
TUTM enhances the lives of children in Queenstown and the surrounding Wakatipu Basin by providing quality music teaching, community music-making, and performance opportunities. It also offers subsidies and scholarships for both music teaching and musical instruments for those who may need support.
So, come along and support TUTM and the talented performers from the Auckland Opera Studio on Sunday, 9 February in the stunning Springpointer Garden!
Featuring a lively repertoire of popular operatic and theatre music, combined with the dramatic harmonies of opera's greatest duets, skilfully twinned to create sheer delight!
The exciting line-up includes:
Sopranos: Amelia Berry, Katherine Winitana and Sarah Mileham.
Tenors: Ridge Ponini and Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono.
Baritone: Alfred Fonoti-Fuimaono.
Bass-baritone: Joel Amosa.
Pianist: Somi Kim.
Give the gift of opera this season and support the next generation of musical talent!
