Helen Webby and Davy Stuart ~ String Wizardry Extraordinaire presenteded by Arts on Tour & Roxburgh & District Arts Society.
Principal Harp with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Helen Webby is also New Zealand’s top Celtic harpist. Accompanied by Davy Stuart , one of the country’s best Celtic guitar and bouzouki players, and you have a great instrumental combination that is as comfortably at home in a wool shed, concert hall or church.
With a repertoire that ranges from the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland to newly composed material from New Zealand and elsewhere you can expect reels, polkas, airs, waltzes and a few songs with a definite Scottish accent.
