Speargrass Inn combines art with food in a warm and friendly environment. Currently showing at Speargrass Inn is an exhibition of works by Sarah Freiburger.
Sarah Freiburger is a self-taught Dunedin based artist with European roots whose work predominately encompasses landscape paintings, plants and animals. Her current focus is forest scenes. Sarah is easily inspired and enthused by the beauty of nature; and she endeavours to express her adopted country's beauty through her work. All works are painted with acrylics. Sarah was born and raised in Germany, travelled to New Zealand, found love and immigrated to New Zealand in 2012. She has been practising drawing and painting from an early age on and is continually furthering her skills. Sarah is working as a primary school teacher in Dunedin and is doing Art in her leisure time.
