Sue is a locally based photographer who has lived in Alexandra for over 30 years. Her attention to detail of the iconic images she captures of the region is quite remarkable. "There is always something new to photograph in the Central Otago landscape, the hoar frost and snow, the light on the golden hills or the brilliant colours of autumn", she says.

She spends a lot of her time in the field and has a unique depth of experience of the region. She is forever pushing to deliver the best possible result, she loves the challenge and appreciates the time investment to get the shot she wants.

After years of expanding her skills she co jointly published a photographic book in 2008 that takes the reader on a journey through the four seasons in Alexandra. They also published the Cromwell Book 2 years later. Both books are available for sale at all Central Otago I-sites.
