Central Otago World Town Crier Tournament

Twenty Town Criers from six countries are registered to attend the Central Otago World Town Crier Tournament 24th - 30th September. These colourful and flamboyant criers will be here to compete and to entertain the masses. Three days of competition cries to be held in Alexandra, Roxburgh and Cromwell . The in between days will see the criers partaking in Criers in the Community when the criers will be dispersed to visit schools and retirement homes. They will be touring and seeing as much of the region as possible. These wonderful ambassadors will then return to their respective cities and towns to spread the good word about our World of Difference.
