Acclaimed as demonstrating "accomplished brilliance, soulfulness and sublime intensity in perfect balance and tonal unity" (The Dominion Post), the Aroha String Quartet is firmly established as one of New Zealand's finest chamber music ensembles.
Join the Aroha Quartet this winter in Queenstown to warm your soul and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Douglas Lilburn, New Zealand's best known composer, with his evocative String Quartet in E minor.
The programme is completed by Haydn's witty String Quartet Op. 33 No 2 "The Joke" and the wonderful String Quartet in C Op. 59 No 3 "Rasumovsky" by Beethoven.
