1. Central Otago Arts Society - In the ACH Foyer

10-11   Pastels - learn the secrets of working with pastels.  Tutor Maggie Cross

11-12   Working with Acrylics - want to paint? – here’s your chance. Tutor Wyn Dryden 

12-1 Working with Oils – understand the secrets of working with oils. Tutor Debbie Malcom 

1-2 Basics of Drawing – how do you make something look like what you see?  Tutor Beverly Robinson

2-3  How to get work ready for an exhibition – what makes a painting ready for sale? Tutor Nigel Wilson

2. Alexandra Patchwork Group - Room A

10-12  Preparation and cutting of a fabric piece - how to cut.

12- 2 Assembling and construction of fabrics - combining colours to give the best effect for piece.

2-4 Assembling a piece of work - inserting batting and finishing techniques.

3. The Dots Craft Group - Room B
11-12 Chalk paint - See what we can do with chalk paint to revamp objects.

1-2  Upholstering using oil cloth to refurbish furniture for your home.

2-3 Knitting for beginners – hats, gloves, scarves, leg warmers

4. Alexandra Sewing Circle - Room A
Sewing machines will be available and some fabrics, however you can also bring your own if you wish.

10-11 Make your own bunting.

11-12 Make a funky bag.

1-2 Make a Christmas Swag.

2-3 Learn about using an over locker - bring your own.

5. Spinners and Weavers - Room C

11-1 Spinning a fleece - how to card and spin wool.

1-2 How to dye and card wool.

2-3 Using a loom.

6. Alexandra Pottery Club - Workshop Room

Have a go! - clay and glazes provided

10-12 Make a pinch pot bird - Fiona Brunton. Make your own hand coiled bowl, vase or coffee mug - Hilary Daughtry

11-12 Learn how to knead clay and throw and centre a pot on the wheel - Kathi McLean

11-1 Clay mask making demonstration - Ross Cowie

12-1 Have a go on the pottery wheel - time to practise!

1-2 Rolling a clay slab and decorating - Jenny Knowles

1-3 Decorate a shape to fire – tiles and shapes will be there for you to decorate and to be glazed - Ross Cowie

7. Model Group - Room D
10-2 Come and build a model, being guided by group members.
