The COAS invites members to participate in a Pop Up Art exhibition at the Community House in Alexandra where you can sell your own art work.

DATES - Waitangi Weekend, 6th Feb to 8th Feb 2015

VENUE - Community House - 3 rooms plus outside environs.

ENTRY DEADLINE-   By Monday 26th January

COST - Entry fee of $30 (payable by 26th January)

TIMES – 10am each day until the crowds wane.

SET UP - initial set up 9am Friday 6th. Sat and Sun set up by 10am.

• Artist to supply easels and as many pieces as you wish, subject to space availability. You may display prints and postcards only if you are manning your own space. (Work stored overnight in the Community House)
• You will be responsible for your own space and will be expected to be there for the 3 days unless alternative arrangements* are made.
• Tables will be available for table top easels. We have a small number of large and small easels, which can be hired at a small cost (first in first served).
• There will be 3 committee members overseeing the exhibition at all times.
• Payment - Sales – You are responsible for your own sales unless alternative arrangements have been made. This is cash and carry. Other forms of payment are between yourself, the  artist (present on the day), and buyer and are not the responsibility of the COAS.
• You are also encouraged to work on a piece during the day.
• Insurance of work is the sole responsibility of the artist.
• The committee’s decision on all matters is final.

ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS* -    

For those artists who wish to participate but cannot man their own space at all or can only be there for certain periods of time please liase with Jim Robbie re: drop off of work, set up, overseeing of your space and collection of money for sales  - ph.03 448 6260 or 027 236 9957
