Bring your picnic blankets for an enthralling evening with Hinemoana Baker (if we need to go indoors, it will be in the cosy embrace of the Beanie Cafe!). A singer songwriter and published poet of mixed Māori and Pākehā heritage, Baker's universe is a rich tapestry of lyric poetry and acoustic music, served by a voice of beautiful purity. Passionate about spoken word and sonic experimentation, she has toured New Zealand but also Indonesia, Australia, Europe and the USA since the early 1990's. She is bringing her unique warmth and breadth of talent to Wanaka for what we know will be a magical evening.
