Their War, Our Story: A Call to Arms opens on 9th August and runs until 12th October, launching a five year WW100 programme commemorating the Centenary of World War 1. This first commemorative exhibition focuses on start of the war and the impact that WW1 had on the Central Otago district. This major exhibition tells the stories of both the military personnel who served and those who remained at home.

Central Stories WW100 Programme Launch - join us for an evening of entertainment, education and commemoration. Performance by the Alexandra-Clyde RSA Choir and mini-lecture by Keith Scott, local historian and author of Before ANZAC, Beyond Armistice Followed by the Official Opening of; Their War: Our Story - A Call to Arms Central Stories` first WW100 Commemorative exhibition - Doors open at 6.00pm Tickets are available at Central Stories from 28th July $5 members, $15 for non members Complimentary Wine and Nibbles.
