Cuisine at Clyde Food Festival

The historic precinct of Clyde will again be the venue for the Cuisine at Clyde food festival this Labour Weekend. Organisers, the Clyde on Sunday group, decided that with the area’s wealth of wonderful produce... from wild game to fresh fruits, Central Otago is the perfect location for a festival that revolves around food and Clyde offers a wonderful setting for this celebration.
The extensive four day programme includes cooking demonstrations with renowned chefs Peta Mathias, Nici Wickes from TV's World Kitchen series, as well as the 'local' favourites Bec Stanley and Jaimie Stodler from TVs MasterChef.
There will also be other food related demonstrations by local people with a wealth of knowledge. Watch this space for more details as they are finalised.
The BBQ competition, which was such a great success last year, will again be held on the Saturday night, hosted by Peta Mathias; and then on Sunday evening, a wine and food matching dinner is planned. Both these evens sold out quickly last year so get your tickets early. Fabulous local wines, fabulous regional food, and a night of entertainment and education!
So, if you're wondering what you're going to get up to this Labour Weekend, then think no further. The Cuisine at Clyde programme has it all - fine food, fine wine, education, and all with unbelievable entertainment!
