Ira Mitchell Artist in Residence Exhibition
Award winning, Queenstown born painter Ira Mitchell will be in residence for 1 week at Riverside Gallery showing a limited number of her original works. Ira's distinctive paintings feature stunning NZ landmarks and scenery, with the exhibition placing a special focus on works of the lower South Island. There will also be a limited selection of prints available which Ira will be happy to sign between 12-3pm each day.
Ira Mitchell is always delighted to work in the Otago area. Recently returned from a successful showing at the Carrousel du Lourve, Paris and an artist's residency in New York, where she was inspired in new directions in her practice, Ira is spending a week in Bannockburn to start on new works.
Ira will be exhibiting as 'Artist in Residence' at Riverside Gallery, Bannockburn from the 25th February til the 4th March
