2016 Queenstown JazzFest - Friday 21st to Monday 24th October. 4 days of fantastic music, in excess of 50 events and over 80 performers.

The festival has grown from humble beginnings back in 1978 to become one of Queenstown's most popular music events, featuring world class musicians from throughout the country and around the globe.

We are currently planning a stunning line-up of international, national and local artists who will showcase their talents across all genres of jazz as they take part in over 40 different free events and ticketed concerts. From smooth blues to big band swing, dixieland to funk bands, traditional jazz to ground breaking contemporary concepts, there is literally something for everyone, young and old.

Our festival delivers a unique experience for all to enjoy with an extensive range of free events around the Wakatipu District on our community stages and at official JazzFest venues across town. We’ve also got outstanding dinner shows for your dining and listening pleasure and some fantastic concert events that will appeal to all ages.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved, to be inspired, and most importantly, to be thoroughly entertained. So if you enjoy live music, please take some time to check out the programme and join us for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of Jazz.
