Wana laugh is a comedy show that is returning to Wanaka by popular demand for one night only. It features three of New Zealand's top comedians Brendhan Lovegrove, Ben Hurley and Wilson Dixon.

This is going to be one Awesome evening of comedy! Limited tickets available. It sold out last time so book early to avoid disappointment!!

Ben Hurley
It’s the bearded guy from 7Days, Ben Hurley!

Winner of all of the awards (NZICF Billy T Award, Fred Award, NZCG Best Male Comedian & Best MC), Ben has been smashing comedy out of the park since a long time ago.

Born in Taranaki, Ben cut his comedy chops in Wellington before making the move to London where he honed his craft to the fine tuned beast we now see.

As Head Writer for 7Days, Ben is also a regular panelist on the show and has appeared on numerous TV shows including the Comedy Gala, AotearoHA and Would I Lie To You. He has hosted the New Zealand Music Awards, his own show alongside Steve Wrigley, World Famous with Ben & Steve and most recently TV3’s stand up comedy show After Hours.

Brendhan Lovegrove
Brendhan is a favourite on the NZ Comedy Circuit and a much-loved regular headliner and host at The Classic.
With an arm's length list of awards. He has entertained sold-out crowds for well over a decade within New Zealand, Australia, Asia and UK.

Brendhan has appeared on numerous local television programmes including all 8 series of Pulp Comedy TV, the last series of which he hosted. He stars in TVNZ's mockumentary 'A Night At The Classic' Season 1 and 2; as well as several appearances on TV3's 7 Days.

Wilson Dixon
Hailing from Cripple Creek Colorado, country music legend, Wilson Dixon’s melodic philosophies on life have seen him become one of the most loved characters on the Aust, UK and NZ circuit.

He has had sold out seasons at The New International Comedy Festival and has won awards for “Best Show” and in 2010 he won the supreme Festival Award “The Fred” for outstanding artistic achievement.

Wilson has performed at almost every UK comedy venue and Festival including the Edinburgh Fringe, Glasgow Comedy Festival and the Leicester Comedy Festival to name but a few. Wilson has also appeared on the NZ Zealand International Comedy Festival’s “ Comedy Gala” 4 years in a row, and in 2009 he appeared in the “TV2 Christmas Gala” and the ABC’s “Spicks and Specks” in Australia and Paramount UK’s “The World Stands Up”. Wilson has also supported live tours with UK greats Stewart Lee and David O’Doherty.

Wilson was the headline act in TV2’s “Comedy Christmas Cracker – The Work Do” 2010 and was invited to appear in TV3’s “7 Days” 2010 season finale and also featured as a headliner in TV2’s “Comedy Jam – A Night of Musical Comedy”.
