Central Otago Regional Orchestra Presents - A Celebration of Youth and Music

Simon Anderson is well known to music patrons in Central Otago having performed and sung at Dunstan High School, the Alexandra Blossom Festival Musicals, and in the Stars in Your Eyes shows. Currently he is furthering his studies in Dunedin. He will be singing a bracket of songs accompanied by the orchestra.

Sarah Wright is playing the Trumpeter’s Lullaby by Leroy Anderson. She will be accompanied by the Central Otago Training Orchestra. Sarah was chosen earlier this year to attend the National Secondary Schools’ Brass Band when it convened in Wellington last October. Sarah is a regular second cornet player in the Pioneer Generation Brass band.

The training orchestra will be playing two other pieces and will join the regional orchestra to play Bizet’s Farandole.

When: Saturday 6th June Cromwell 7pm at the Cromwell College Auditorium,  Barry Ave, and again on Sunday 7th June Alexandra 3pm at the Alexandra Community Theatre in Skird Street.

Duration: 1 Hour 45 Mins

Tickets: Adults $20, Student/Child free when accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
