"The Perception Project", is an exhibition designed to expose the viewer to creative methods of communication, aside from just the written word.
"Writers were asked to each submit a piece of text, up to 200 words, with a theme of communication or miscommunication. These texts were then distributed to an ‘Artist’ to interpret in a form not requiring words. The submissions include Musical, Dance, Video, Painting, Sculpture and Photographic interpretations".
The opening night is Saturday 11th July 6.30 - 8.30pm and there will live performances from some of the contributing artists, exclusive to the opening evening.
Open to the public, entry to the opening is by donation, with all proceeds going to the Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand.
