How to...Write a Play with Roger Hall

Roger Hall is widely regarded as New Zealand's leading playwright, winning many awards and honours including the Companion of NZ Order of Merit (CNZM) for his services as a playwright. Roger has written over 40 plays including the smash hit Glide Time and Middle-Age Spread, which enjoyed lengthy success in London's West End.

We are delighted to have Roger talk to us while he completes his 3 months artist-in-residence at Henderson House in Alexandra.

The workshop will also include an overview of the short play-wrighting competition "NZ Pint Size Plays" and the opportunity to workshop play ideas with directors and actors from Remarkable Theatre
