PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ARTISTS

Location: Alexandra Community House
Region: Alexandra

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ARTISTS

Three Workshops Proudly Presented by the  Central Otago District Arts Trust

These professional development workshops are designed to help artists with their portfolio presentation, artist profile information and imagery.  They look at how to create an online presence and the best ways  to do this through Facebook and other social media.

If you are an artist in any genre, from a musician to a photographer, you can use Facebook to promote your work and your business. Many artists create Facebook pages to create and maintain a professional presence online, to display their work and reach out to potential customers.

However, these workshops are not only geared to the internet.  You will learn how to price your work and how to present your CV/Bio/Portfolio to galleries or dealers. A successful artist presentation is absolutely vital if you wish to become represented by a gallery or to sell your work.

This course will give you confidence and give direction to your art career.
