Roxburgh Entertainment Centre presents 'Share an Afternoon' with winning filmmaker Pietra Brettkelly ~ 20 years in the Documentary Film making Industry.

Journalist turned filmmaker Pietra Brettkelly has travelled to Timor, Africa and the Arctic Circle, directing both television and her own feature-length documentaries. Sundance-selected Art Star and the Sudanese Twins, a story of international adoption, won Qantas awards in 2009 for best director and documentary. 2012's Māori Boy Genius was invited to the Berlin, Sydney and New Zealand Film Festivals, before winning local release. 

This presentation is FREE with your admission to the film 'Maori Boy Genius' - Best Documentary at the NZ Film Awards.
