BUDDY: The Buddy Holly Story
It was in the early hours of 3 February 1959 a light aircraft crashes in a snow storm. All four occupants were killed outright. Pilot Roger Petersen and pop stars The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and a young star Charles Hardin Holley known as Buddy Holly. Buddy was twenty-two. He left behind a legacy of great hits such as Peggy sue, Oh, Boy! and Rave On to name a few. It was a meteoric rise to music stardom but it wasn't without a struggle. Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story is a musical journey through Buddy Holly & The Crickets legacy culminating in the Winter Dance Party at Clear Lake, Iowa - Buddy's final performance.
