Locals Celebrating Wool at the Clyde Tennis C;ub [Wed, 19 July 2023]
Clyde Tennis Club felt like celebrating woollen products after one of its members Stan Randle regularly arrived in beautifully handknitted jerseys by his wife Daphne. Over the year's Daphne has been a regular entrant and award winner of the prestigious WoolOn Fashion Event.
Matariki weekend also reminded us of our past and plans for our future as a Club. Tennis has an active following across Central Otago and we welcome new members at Clyde. Sunday morning at 9 am join us for a relaxed social doubles morning followed by coffee at the Post Office Cafe. Photos capture some of the smiles, knits and activity on Sunday 16 July. We hope to have another dress up morning in November.
