CREATIVE HEART ART & CRAFT EASTER SHOW 2015

Closing Date for all entries (both competition  & exhibition sections): 5.00pm, Friday 20th March.

Delivery of exhibits:  The venue:  Cromwell & Districts Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth St, Cromwell,  will be open to receive all exhibits on Thursday 2nd April between 9.00am and 12 noon. No exhibits will be accepted after this time.

Show Hours: Good Friday (3rd April) 1 – 5pm. Easter Saturday (4th April) 10am – 5pm
                      Easter Sunday (5th April) 1 – 5pm. Easter Monday (6th April) 10am – 3pm.

Collection of Exhibits: Easter Monday (6th April) 4 - 5pm.

Cromwell & Districts Community Arts Council Inc, more commonly known as Cromwell Community Arts, is a registered charity and the presenter of this show. As It does not have the physical resources within its membership to organise and manage this show  it has entered into a contract with Alastair & Krisztina Hansen of Creative Heart Art & Craft Supplies for them to do so on its behalf.

The Show has both Competition and Exhibition Sections.
 
The Categories for the Competition Section are:

Quilts for which the theme is "Stained Glass Window" and Painting/Photographic & Digital for which the theme is "Central Otago, The People and The Place".

There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category of the Competitive Section. Prize winners will be determined by popular vote of visitors to the Show.
 
There are no prizes in the Exhibition Section.

Terms & Conditions of Entry

1. All work to be exhibited must have been completed within one year of the closing date for entries, be the original work of the person who enters it and not have been exhibited at our 2014 Creative Heart Art & Craft Easter Show.
2. Exhibitors may enter up to a maximum of three works in the Competition Section and up to ten works in the Exhibition Section.
3. Cromwell Community Arts has empowered its contracted management the right to select or reject any item entered for hanging or display at the show.
4. All work to be exhibited by hanging must be suitably framed and wired ready for hanging.
5. All work to be exhibited must be labelled securely on either the back or the base with exhibitor's name, title and price if for sale. If the work is not for sale this must be shown as NFS.
6. A 20% commission applies to all works sold at the Show. In setting a sale price this commission should be considered.
7. No exhibit may be removed before 4pm on Monday 6th April.
8. While every care will be taken of works delivered for exhibition neither Cromwell Community Arts or its contracted management, including its servants and employees, will be responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit. Exhibitors need to make their own arrangements for insurance if necessary.
9. Exhibitors will allow their work to be photographed without a fee by Cromwell Community Arts or its contracted management for  possible reproduction for publicity of future Shows.
10. The following entry fees apply:  $20 for each entry in the Competition Section. $10 for each entry in the Exhibition Section. Members of the Cromwell Combined Society of Arts & Crafts Inc will receive a 50% discount on entry fees.
