ASPIRE

New paintings and multi-media artworks by Kathryn Pender

The main two focuses of my work are my themes and the materials I use; I layer paints, varnishes, resins, photographs, and found materials, constantly exploring new techniques to convey my ideas and thoughts through various mediums. The vibrant colours and textures inspire me to carry on creating, the materials interacting with each other to reveal and obscure the thoughts and processes behind my work.

I work from my studio at the Queenstown Arts Centre
