Our Scottish celebrations are in their 8th year! We welcome you to keep the spirit alive and be part of our community’s annual Scottish Festival.
Friday 15th Sept - TARTAN MUFTI DAY for all.
Dress up “a little or a lot’. Let’s create some atmosphere in and around our valley. The schools, Educare and Playcentre always do a great job supporting this event - the challenge is now on for the businesses to also don a little tartan, or embrace the Scottish theme in their own way.
All mufti money goes to St Johns.
Friday 15th 8pm / Saturday 16th 8pm / Sunday 17th 4pm -Three-peat MOVIE SCREENING.
Roxburgh Entertainment Centre, rated M (adult scenes), 112 mins.
We are lucky to bring to you a Special Advance Screening of “Tommy’s Honour”, starring Sam Neill, Jack Lowden and Ophelia Lovibond. This is a Scottish historical drama depicting the lives and careers of pioneering golfing champions Old Tom Morris, and his son Young Tom Morris. The pride of a father, the love of a wife the soul of a rebel and the heart of a champion.
Sat 16th Sept - FAIGAN’S CAFE AND STORE MILLERS FLAT.
Hosting a night of Scottish fare, from 6pm.
Tickets are $40 and include a two course buffet meal. Full bar, including a selection of Scottish Whiskys available.

Sunday 17th Sept - KILT CANTER AND BBQ FUNDRAISER -11am.
From the Cannery at Coal Creek along the Roxburgh Cycle Track to the Roxburgh Rugby Club, along the edge of State Highway 8.
Organised by the Roxburgh Netball Club – the only event that has been in the programme every year!
An approx 5 km bike, canter, run or walk.
This year, let’s have a tartan profile along State Highway 8.
Gold Coin Donation and Spot Prizes.
