Saturday Night Fever - Queenstown
Location: Queenstown Memorial Centre
Region: Queenstown
The New Zealand premiere of Saturday Night Fever is coming!
Dust off your hip-hugging flares, your platform shoes and warm up your disco dance moves for the New Zealand Community Theatre Premiere!
Presented by Showbiz Queenstown and Remarkables Park Town Centre, this brand new stage production of Saturday Night Fever is one of the most loved dance stories of all time. Packed with over twenty legendary hits from The Bee Gees including the classics; Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, Jive Talking, You Should Be Dancing and How Deep is Your Love.
Saturday Night Fever is a stage version of the extraordinarily successful 1977 movie starring John Travolta. Travolta's character, Tony Manero, is a Brooklyn man whose very ordinary life is transformed when he steps on to the dance floor. The film soundtrack featuring the music of The Bee Gees was one of the highest selling albums of all time, with sales of well over 20 million worldwide.
It is a jam-packed, dance-crazed, fuel-injected show, with groovy sets and disco lighting the Queenstown Memorial Centre for almost two-and-a-half hours of energy, music and oh-so-tight pants.
