  • No Science To Goodbye - Moments from a new play

No Science To Goodbye' is a new work that traverses distances, love, loss and risk within an unforgettable landscape.

Written by Annabel Wilson and directed by Anna Shaw, the play is a mash-up of moments. Spoken word and soundscape underscore portraits of the world the characters inhabit. Elsie, an expat writer, returns to her alpine hometown to look after her terminally ill brother. She is confronted with memories of the past as her life begins to unravel…
A stellar cast of Wellington actors (Frankie Berge, Jack Sergent-Shadbolt, Calvin Petersen) join Electric Wire Hustle's Cory Champion to present a lyrical narrative that will remain with the audience a long time.

We invite you to be part of this key development phase as we bring this piece to Wanaka - the setting that inspired the story. We're excited to share the outcome of our workshopping process with our community. After the showing, there will be a q&a opportunity for feedback and discussion. With thanks to our supporters Central Lakes Arts Support Scheme, New Zealand Pacific Studio, Artists' Residency Centre & World Travellers.
