Finding Your Voice - Pauline Cartwright

Pauline Cartwright will speak on her personal experiences with writing and being published also discovering and finding your own voice in your writing. She is also going to touch on her own experience of publishing e-books. She will allow time for a Q & A session too.
About Pauline:
Pauline has written a wide range of books for children. Her writing includes radio stories, novels, pictures books, poetry and many educational readers. Some titles that have been short-listed for New Zealand Book Awards include, Grow a Gift (1991), and, Saved by Ryan Kane (1994). She was the Robert Lord Writer in Residence from March-May 2003.Pauline helped Pani Thomas who now lives in Alexandra to write her life story and experience of the Cambodian Pol Pot regime.
Free to members of the Creative Writers Circle and open to other interested persons for $10.00

Who are we? The creative writers circle:
We are a group of writers who meet at 12 noon on the First Thursday of the month at the Alexandra Community House. We exchange information on writing and invite published writers to talk about their writing, and facilitate writing workshops
