CHASE AND STATUS JOIN NETSKY - LAKE HAWEA HOTEL
Location: Lake Hawea Hotel
Region: Lake Hawea
Dates: Sun, 28 December 2014
Rhythm Group Entertainment is excited to announce that Chase and Status will bring their legendary DJ set to Lake Wanaka’s Hawea Hotel, joining drum & bass heavyweight Netsky for his one off DJ set on December 28th.
The double-billed show will be both acts’ only South Island appearance and takes place in the lead up to their headline slots at Rhythm & Vines in Gisborne this New Years.
A very limited number of GA tickets priced at $80 will be available from 9am Friday 28th November.
Gig goers can expect Chase and Status’ DJ set to deliver surging, dancefloor anthems. Previous R&V sets have been legendary and this gig is set to be no different. Their platinum selling album stormed the UK charts to #2 and having remixed for the likes of Jay Z and The Prodigy they’ve rebooted their reputation as the one of most exciting production teams on the scene. Joining them for the DJ set will be MC Rage.
Rarely have we seen someone rise through the ranks as quick as Boris Daenen, a.k.a. Netsky. Leading a wave of new school drum & bass talent from Europe with his blend of uplifting, melancholic melodies and heavy dancefloor bass + beats, Netsky’s popularity is astounding.
For a limited time only, Rhythm and Alps is offering an exclusive deal to Netsky / Chase & Status ticket buyers who are also keen to attend the festival.
This super combo includes: Netsky / Chase & Status ticket, camping access for Dec 29th, and a R&A 2-Day camping and festival pass, and will be available for $299 + b/f, saving you $45!
