Cory Varcoe is an Invercargill based freelance photographer whose works are typically serene, atmospheric landscapes and waterscapes. These often involve long exposures that provide mood in the image - from the blurred movement of water or cloud.
In this exhibition, he has used the human body’s nude form to emulate landscape. By using the purest aspect of the body in its nude form, body and skin evoke the shape and texture of land with layers of ambiguity and mystery.
These fine art photographs have been printed on archival paper as unique one-off artworks.
All the works are for sale.
