What's happening in Central Otago
Arrowtown Spring Arts Festival
Location: Arrowtown Athenaeum Hall
Region: Arrowtown
Dates: Thu, 17 September 2015 - Sun, 20 September 2015
This is a brand new event that was created to showcase local artists and to allow people to learn new skills in a wide range of different workshops covering a range of mediums.
The festival starts on Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th September and has now over 50 different workshops, talks, tours and shows within in the 4 days.
Workshops range from 1/2 days to 4 days with a variety of different costs. We want people from all levels - beginners to advanced to be involved and to come away after the 4 days creating their own arts pieces and being inspired.
Central Otago is blessed to have some of the countries most talented artists living here and we think that this is the perfect opportunity to showcase Central Otago as an arts destination.
Local galleries were also participating with special exhibitions.
