Alexandra Basin Winegrowers New Releases Tasting.
Taste around 50 new releases wines, talk direct to the winemakers and vineyard owners, enjoy music and locally produced complementary cheeses - all in the tranquil setting of historic Oliver's Gardens in Clyde.
This year we are very excited to have Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier and patron of the New Zealand Sommeliers and Wine Professionals Association. He is an experienced wine writer, commentator, judge, reviewer, presenter and consultant. Cameron is in charge of the Wine and Beverage Programme at AUT University in Auckland and can be found ‘out in the field’ consulting for the Wine, Hospitality and Tourism sector and the interested public.
Tickets are $30.00 and are available from Purveyors, 27 Sunderland Street in Clyde, Henry’s Wines and Spirits, Centennial Ave Alexandra and Alexandra iSite.
Note: the ticket price is all you pay there will be no extra charges for wine tasting. Guests also receive a free tasting glass and booklet with information about each vineyard and the wine they are presenting.
