A solo exhibition by Lizzie Carruthers
Working with animals on a daily basis has enabled Lizzie Carruthers to portray animals in and eccentric and sympathetic manner. Carruther's talent in drawing these characters begins their story. These luscious, bright and expressive oils are further enhanced by an unexpected coloured under painting in acrylic. Carruther's quirky humour is reflected in the underlying subjects and titles of her paintings.
