Exhibition Opening and Award Celebration - a double header.
Opening of The Wednesday Group exhibition.
The Wednesday Group is a number of painters from throughout the Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes region who have gathered together once a week over the last year to develop their skills. During the year, plein air painting, mixed media work as well as figure and portrait painting have been explored with the tuition of artist Megan Huffadine. This exhibition is a celebration of their journey. All works are for sale.
Celebrating Michael Harlow - one of our outstanding poets. A special celebration to acknowledge Michael Harlow being awarded the Prime Ministers prize for Literature. Michael will be speaking about the importance of poetry and reading some of his recent works.
