Our artist for the next three months is Angela Marshall, a Southland Girl who majored in Art at the Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin. With a diploma of teaching she is Head of the Arts Faculty of a secondary school in Christchurch.
Her subject is the ever trending moods of the lakes and landscape of Southland and Otago. Her paintings, oil on canvas, are suggestive of the drama and majesty of sky and land that touch the very core of our love for our surroundings. A strong visual depiction that holds the fleeting moments in time.
