PAINTING WITH MO

If you’ve ever fancied painting a picture but you’re not too sure where to start then this course is for you. Aimed at beginners to painting, Mo Fenton offers a practical hands-on guide on how to paint pictures from start to finish, whilst exploring watercolours, acrylics and decorative painting techniques.

Watercolour landscape - Thursday 11 th November Learn how to compose an image and layer watercolour paint to create a simple landscape painting. *Materials: Students need to bring the following: - An HB pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener. - Watercolour paints (or acrylics if not available). - A photograph of a simple landscape/scene as a subject to paint.

Floral painting in acrylics- Thursday 18th November Practice direct painting techniques to create a floral image in acrylics. *Materials: Students need to bring the following: - Acrylic paints - A photograph of a flower(s) as a subject to paint.

Decorative abstract painting - Thursday 25th November Experiment with different decorative painting techniques to create an abstract piece of art. *Materials: Students need to bring the following: - Acrylic paints - Pencil crayons (optional) - Blank canvas (optional for students that wish to try painting on canvas - any size
