Wanaka Arts Society - Stick Your Neck Out.

The Wanaka Arts Society are holding an exciting and richly diverse exhibition of contemporary local works. The Lake Wanaka Centre will showcase the creative culture of the region with over 200 artworks by 50 artists that include jewellery, ceramics, photography, sculpture, printmaking and paintings. The theme is ’Stick Your Neck Out’ and we anticipate that artists interpretations will stimulate many conversations as they push their creative boundaries.
Opening Night: Friday 19th October 5 – 9pm. $10 entry to be the first to view and purchase affordable art.
The exhibition is open daily with $5 entry fee.
Saturday 20th 9am – 5pm
Sunday 21st 9am – 5pm
Monday 22nd 9am – 2pm (exhibition close)
Guest artists: Diana Adams (Painter), Janyne Fletcher (Photographer), Marie Hoglund (painter/glass artist/jeweller).
Invited demonstrating artists: Jenny Hill (Encaustic painting), Heather Kerr (textile artist).
All work displayed is for sale, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to feather your nest with a piece of unique local art in time for Christmas!
