What's happening in Central Otago
Shapeshifter plus Netsky with Sunshine Sound System.
Location: Lake Hawea Hotel
Region: Lake Hawea
Dates: Thu, 4 January 2018 @ 6pm
Summer is synonymous with Shapeshifter in our fair country, and with good reason. The band have been delivering the goods around New Zealand almost every summer since 2009 – a tradition that brings their stadium soul-infused drum & bass sound to green fields in iconic holiday destinations across the country.
This January, the band returns for three parties, in three picturesque settings, in close proximity to three different bodies of water – by the river in Riwaka, on the shores of Lake Hawea and next to the beach at Whangamata.
Belgian Hospital Records alumni Netsky will be joining the boys on the road. A festival favourite, this drum & bass DJ and producer is sure to serve up a set that’s hot as the sun.
Plus Shapeshifter’s brothers-in-arms Sunshine Sound System have been added to the line-up, well-equipped to fire up the joint with their tried and true party-starting mix of MC-ing, dancehall, reggae and hip-hop.
