Remarkable Theatre - Pint-Sized Plays.
Location: Queenstown and Wanaka
Region: South Island
Dates: Fri, 3 May 2019 - Sun, 5 May 2019 @ 7pm daily.
Remarkable Theatre presents its Pint-Sized Plays 2019 production featuring ten short plays written by local and international writers in our Pint-Sized Play writing competition. Based on a concept that originated in Wales, the audience votes for the best play. The Welsh competition started with an idea that live theatre could be performed in pubs using minimal props and with a limited set. In 2012, Remarkable Theatre launched the Pint-Sized Play vision to New Zealand and the Queenstown Lakes District. Over 50 plays have been performed since this time. Pint Sized Plays 2019 includes a mix of comedy and drama in the line-up with 22 of Remarkable Theatre’s actors bringing the plays to life. The shows will be performed over three nights in Queenstown and Wanaka with the winner being announced on the final night at Reds Bar.
Come along to support local theatre and enjoy a great night of entertainment.
