Are you a creative person currently living in Queenstown Lakes/Central Otago?
Are you interested in an opportunity to show your work in Queenstown’s newest independent space for Art?
If so, we want to hear from you.
Queenstown Contemporary is an initiative established to support Art in the Queenstown Lakes region. We work with philanthropic individuals, businesses, developers, organisations and arts industry professionals to provide new places for Artists and Creatives to show work and for our community to engage with it. Our goal is to help encourage excellence in Art, create opportunities and to increase the cultural health of our community.
Currently, thanks to the generous support of the developers of the Five Mile Centre in Frankton, we have created the largest independent space devoted to Art in Queenstown and this is just the beginning. The fluid nature of our model means we will be on the move whenever and wherever there is the opportunity to help foster creativity, both for the makers and the viewers. We will be selecting artists entirely from this round of submissions for our next exhibition in September.
The deadline for submissions is 5pm, Friday August 23, 2019.
