Opening celebration 3pm, 15th June. Everyone welcome.

Simon King is a full time woodworker creating art pieces in his studio in Wanaka. He has spent 20 years as a teacher of Design at secondary school. During this time Simon held national roles as a Level 3 chief assessor, standards writer and a member of the scholarship marking panel. He has developed his art practice over 30 years. his furniture design draws on ideas from New Zealand vernacular architecture and pre-European woodwork.
